Casual day #1 (shopping)

Today I opted out to go for something casual to do a little shopping. Im in love with pastel pants for the spring/summer, normally I wouldn't pair a bright color with a pastel but with these pants since they are more of a darker mint color, a bright blazer would be perfect with it. When wearing pastels and brights I try not to add much color to my accessories nor do I try to over do them so I piece simple accessories as such. Since this is a shopping outfit I didn't want to wear any heels so I went for some simple flat sandals.

4th Of July Outfit (preview)

Hey chicas!!!! The 4th of July is almost here and if you're anything like me, you are super excited to dress in red, white, and blue. I don't want to do the typical (just wearing the colors), I want to add a twist to it. The bowtie adds some jazz to the outfit, Oh and lets not get on the JC litas, they are to die for. Today I decided to show you that you can add low price clothing with high end clothing. With the top's mesh low cut and the peplum style adds some sexiness to this outfit which makes it great for a date night.

Shoe Trend: Jeffrey Campbell

There is a new trend that is going on all over the world, the Jeffrey Campbell shoes!!! Even though most of us midwest and east siders are pretty much late (like always). I own a pair and these shoes may look uncomfortable but they aren't, they are easy to walk in. Now the night walkers ( the last ones) look deadly and I'm sure that I would fall...lol. Jeffrey Campbell has a variety of shoes for every type of girl. So, the next time you go shopping pick up a pair of JC and rock them!!!!

Evelyn Lozada inspired makeup

Hey Ladies!!!! I was watching the BBW last night and i saw Evelyn's makeup during her interview and i fell in love. It was a lime green color with some soft browns in the crease, i had to recreate this look.

                                                      I used an Inglot color in 59 on the lid

Then I used Mac cosmetics eye shadow colors in 'soft brown' 'saddle' & 'folie' (all in that order) in the crease. I also used those same browns on my bottom water line.

The last step to do is the best part.....GLITTER!!!!! I used some glitter that i got from Hobby Lobby feel free to use any glitter u want. Oh dnt forget to line your top lid with a strong winged out line and ur bottom water line and add some dramatic lashes!!!!!

Cranberries & Glitter

It is holiday season, so you all know what that means!!! I can use glitter everyday without anyone giving me weird looks...lol. Yesterday I came up with this look since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I named it cranberries and glitter. Embark (mac) as crease blending color

Rust (nyx) also in crease

gold glitter (sally girl) apply this after you apply your lid color (bh cosmetics 120 palette)

eggplant gel liner (maybelline)

mac lashes #34 to finish the eyes =)

and to add a little more "fall like" feel to it add a plumish lip color I used 'fine wine' by covergirl (queen collection)
